Italian Firm Invests $32M in Alabama, Creates 50 Jobs

2A USA announced this week it's investing $32 million to expand its Auburn manufacturing facility, creating 50 new jobs in the process. The aluminum die casting company specializes in making complex, large components for heavy trucks.

This isn't 2A USA's first rodeo in Auburn. The Italian manufacturer arrived in Alabama back in 2014, buying an existing plant and filling it with cutting-edge die-casting equipment. Five years later, they invested another $15 million to grow even bigger.

Now they're back with their largest investment yet. The expansion will boost the company's ability to produce advanced aluminum parts for North American heavy truck makers, all stamped "Made in America."

"Auburn has become an important part of our company's story," said founder and CEO Cavaliere Carlo Ilotte. His words reflect what happens when a community and a company grow together over more than a decade.
