Teacher Finds First-Ever Adult T. Rex Footprint Trail

Kent Hups was looking for an easy path through a North Dakota valley when he spotted a lumpy triangle poking through the dirt that made him stop and stare. The high school teacher had spent 30 years searching for ancient footprints, and this looked exactly like three giant toes.

He was standing on what scientists had long considered nearly impossible to find: a T. rex footprint. Before his discovery, only two adult Tyrannosaurus rex footprints had ever been identified in the entire world.
