Kurdistan Launches Tourism Council to Reach 20M Visitors
The Kurdistan Region just created a new Tourism Council to transform its economy through travel, with ambitious plans to more than double annual visitors from 8 million to 20 million by 2030. With 3,000 destinations already welcoming tourists and $7.5 billion invested in the sector, this emerging hotspot is betting big on its mountains, ancient sites, and reputation for safety.
