Sikkim Community Saves Himalayan Lake From Plastic Waste
Tsomgo Lake in Sikkim was drowning in plastic bottles, instant noodle cups, and yak waste from unchecked tourism. Nineteen years after the local community took action, the lake is thriving again and supporting 270 households.
