Kelowna Track Star Emma Cannan Shatters Conference Record
Simon Fraser University senior Emma Cannan just rewrote the record books, blazing through the 400 meters in 53.56 seconds to break a conference record that stood for three years. The Kelowna native also notched a personal best in the 60 meters, earning her athlete of the week honors and proving that dedication pays off in spectacular fashion.
