South Lake Tahoe Leader Wins Top Economic Development Award
David Jinkens, a founding board member who helped launch California's premier economic development organization in 1980, just received its highest honor for a lifetime of strengthening communities. The South Lake Tahoe City Council member and retired city manager will receive the 2026 Local Economic Development Champion Award for transforming his region's economy over four decades.
